Every item shows how many you have, how many are promised to clients and how many you can still sell. Invoices reserve stock, posted receipts add it, and the numbers update the moment it happens.More about Documents →
Receipts, shipments and transfers are ordinary WorkZeal documents. Post one and the stock moves. Unpost it to fix a mistake, and the balances go back.More about Documents →
Count what's on the shelves, and WorkZeal compares it with the records line by line. Post the count, and the balances match the shelves again, with every shortage and surplus kept on record.
What you had at the start, what came in, what went out and what's left, built from your warehouse documents. For one shop or all of them, in units or in dollars.
Send a client the link to any item. They will see the photos, the price and what's in stock, and order in one tap. The order lands in WorkZeal and reserves the stock.

No. The product catalog works on its own: items with prices and cost prices that go into deals and invoices. Turn on warehouse mode when you want stock balances, reservations, stocktaking and turnover, and turn it off again at any time. See Warehouse and Products.
Stock is how many units are physically in your warehouses. Reserved is how many are already promised to clients in issued invoices. Available is stock minus reserved: what you can sell right now. All three update live in the item list, with totals at the bottom.
Create items by hand, set the real balances with a stocktaking document, or import an Excel file with stock balances. The import maps your columns, creates a stocktaking document and updates items that already exist instead of duplicating them. See how to fill the catalog.
They are ordinary documents issued in Documents. A document type becomes a warehouse type with the Warehouse mode switch and an operation: Incoming, Outgoing, Transfer or Stocktaking. A transfer moves items from one warehouse to another, and the total stays the same. See Warehouse documents.
Only when a document is posted. You can save it unposted while the goods are on the way and post it later. A posted document is view only: unpost it to make changes, and the balances go back at once. A deleted document keeps its postings until it is deleted from the trash.
When you add an item to an invoice, the Warehouse reservation panel shows what is available in each warehouse, and you choose how many to reserve. Reserved units leave Available but stay in Stock. All active reservations are in the Reservations section.
Yes. Create them in the Warehouses directory, and they appear in documents, in the item card and in every filter. The item card shows the balance by warehouse, and a transfer document has a From warehouse and a To warehouse.
Issue a stocktaking document: each line shows the balance on record, and you enter what you actually counted. When it is posted, the balance is set to the count, and every difference goes to the Stocktaking section as a surplus or a shortage.
The dashboard shows all items, items close to their minimum, and the stock value at sale price and at cost. The turnover sheet shows the start, receipts, expenses and the end for any period and warehouse. Sales lists everything included in issued documents.
Set a minimum stock level in the item card. Items at or below it are counted under Close to minimum on the dashboard, so you can restock before you run out.
Soon. Items will get a photo gallery and a link you can send to a client, with the price, what's in stock and an Order button; the order will reserve the stock. Today each item has an image and a product card you use inside WorkZeal.
Plans are $15 per user per month, or $10 per user per month when billed yearly. Warehouse is included. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial of the full product for your whole team.
